My classic shot.....

I hadn't taken one of these shots in a while...so thought it was time.

Life is Good!

2nd Birthday....

I was given a Phoenix with my date engraved on it....a little breathtaking at first but an honor as well. I have been given a 2nd chance....I found out from my mom that the day this all happened was my grandmothers birthday. Hmmm...ya think someone was watching out for me?

Sharing about life.....

I was honored to share my story and encourage people to become CPR trained. I am working on getting the kids at my school trained as well as the staff. Also, trying to get an AED in my school which seems more trying than first anticipated. But, I will prevail as always!

I love this shot....

I'm not sure who was in charge of my camera at this point....I was up being recognized and sharing my story...but I love this picture of the guys watching me! I'm so honored to have met them and thank them for what they did!

Doing there job....

Matt, Me, Scott, and Howard trying to figure out which camera to look at! Matt and I are the only ones truly looking..but it's the best shot I got. These are 3 of the 4 men that were with me on that fateful day, July 20th. Matt tells my story so well....I learn more and more each day. He tells me how he gave me CPR and straddled me when I crashed. Howard was the driver and was my bag/air guy...Scott was the lieutenant on duty that day. He's a quiet but sweet guy!

Button pusher...

So, I refer to him as Jason, the button pusher. He said all I did was push the button, on the AED, I said well that was a pretty important button for me! Another good guy...who did his part to help save me!

Just me...

So, I look at this picture and realize that I need to get something on the walls in the living room. It seems oh so bare...I have a plan...no worries!

My best girls....

Having a little gathering at my place before the celebration began! Always a good time with my 3 best Colorado friends! These girls are my life...I know I can count on them for anything! Love ya pretty ladies!!

One lucky girl....

My mom was able to come out for the weekend...and we had an amazing time! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful mother. We made some great memories... I love you lots Mom!

What would I do....

without these two ladies? I don't know is the answer...they were by my side through it all..even when I didn't know! Love you girls bunches!!

Softball??

My new softball buddy! Crystal and I talking ball...well kinda...I was talking to her husband about it but she'll play for fun.

Whatta do?

Posing with Blanca at the Superbowl Party. She always makes me laugh by the crazy things she says!

Panorama goes RED!

I was awestruck with how many people wore RED and donated to help the AHA on Friday! This is only about half of the staff that wore RED on Friday...the rest were running the school! :) We gathered together and raised $344 for the American Heart Association! I am so proud and honored to work with such amazing people! I love you ALL...even those of you that couldn't make it to the picture on time.... :)

My Go RED spread.

I ran to the store before school and got some RED inspired treats for everyone! To my surprise Alex and Pat each got me beautiful plants. I'm such a lucky girl to have such awesome friends!

My partner in crime....

My good buddy Alex, she is the science part of my team. She is a lot of fun and helps inspire me to work out. We are going to start a challenge on losing weight...should be ROCKIN!

More girls in RED.

Cynthia and Susan showing off their RED with me on Go RED day!

Too funny...

So, a shot like this only means one thing...Gay is taking the picture and we are laughing because she is struggling! :) Jolene, myself, and Alex picking on Gay's picture taking skills.

K-Mac

Kathy is one of our wonderful school counselors. She is always calm, cool, and collected... :)

Front office saviors!

Cindy and Ms. Diana my lifeline in the front office! These 2 ladies are so helpful, I don't know what I'd do without them or the grief they give me!

Torie before the event....

Gina snapped this shot of Torie....she was having a hard time at first. I couldn't see her like this otherwise I would lose it....and I had to share first.
I can't imagine what everyone went through as I lay in the hospital with the future unknown....I wasn't there....but I do know that if anything like that happened to any of my friends...I would be a wreck...and they just all seem so strong and I love all of you my friends for being there for me!
I know life can be crazy at times and we all are faced with difficult situations but remember, we are alive and have so much to live for!!

The panel...

This is where it all begins..sharing my story with the women at the Go Red campaign at Macy's in Denver on Saturday, February 6th, 2010. What a great day...I had so much fun with Torie and Gina! Thanks girls! :)

Girl's only....

I am telling my story to the GIRL'S ONLY girls...how exciting! We chatted afterward about how I recognize them with only their bras and panties on! If you saw the show you would understand. Everyone was so awesome at the casting call....loved sharing my story and getting the word out on how important it is to be CPR trained and to have AED's in public places.

Out of my element...

So, what would a casting call be without getting your make up done by the Estee Lauder girls? I'm not a big make-up girl as most of you know but it was good..subtle but nice! Sometimes it's ok to step outside the box, right? :)

After our make-up session.

The finished product. Don't we look like we're ready for our famous on camera shots?

Just us Girls....

Torie, myself, and Gina before Torie and I take the set to share our story together. What an AMAZING day!
